Making an Offer
Making an Offer
Once you've found your dream home, and are ready to make an offer, you
Sales Associate will assist you in drafting a purchase agreement.
Their experience and professional training, coupled with all the
necessary research, will help you in structuring an effective offer.
Your Sales Associate's negotiation skills will play a large part in
this process. When an offer is made, the seller will have the option of
accepting, rejecting or counter-offering. Your Associate will negotiate
the best possible terms for you.
Your Sales Professional will draft the purchase agreement, advising you
of protective contingencies, customary practices, and local
regulations. Home warranty, title and escrow arrangements will be
detailed in the offer. Although your Associate will give you advice and
information, it is your decision as to the exact price and terms that
you wish to offer.
Managing the Escrow
An escrow is created when parties deposit money and/or
documents with a third party who holds these items until specific
conditions are met. This third party is known as the escrow agent or escrow holder.
